Paschal Triduum Reflections

Easter Saturday

ALIVE AGAIN
Breaking free,
bursting forth,
arise Jesus, alive again !!

Resurrection, Jesus’s insurrectional power,
death-shattering-systemic-evil-crushing-power,
arising now, in personal life-events, signs of the times.

Jesus alive again!
Aglow with sacred spirit power, mediated for:
healing cosmic ruptures,
restoring regenerativity of Mother Earth,
reconciling spirit-energy-imbalances,
seeking geopolitical pathways forward,
setting free victims from diabolic shackles, systemic evils,
synergizing efforts for the vulnerable on the margins,
stepping up resilience of indigenous living traditions,
capacitating transdisciplinary risk reduction of coastal women, disaster-prone communities,
brokering truce In Myanmar, Gaza, Ukraine,
ensuring Pope Francis, at death’s doorstep, lives again.

Jesus, arisen,
testimony to life’ teleology as:
eternal glorification of the Triune God;
eventual divinization of Mother Earth, creation,
for the emergence of a new earth, new heaven, new creation.

Allahwahbar !!

Alleluia !!

Om Shanti Om !!

Good Friday, Suffering Day

- Newsletter -

SLOW DEATH
Creation in birthpang, reverberating, across continents,
institutions, firms, governments, Silicon-Dragon valleys,
groaning, consumed in the maelstrom of a global tariff-chip war,
a power-play, battling for a multipolar world.

A pained world,
reeling in anger, confusion, division, defiance,
from an economic cold war, with cascading waves of insanity,
mounting daily, no foreseeable solutions in sight.

Agency workers, dignity, rights, trampled under “No work. No pay” policy.
2024 Q 4, ASML’s revenue, plunged, 27%;
Tariffs, without ceiling, akin to a spiral to the bottom,
recurrent incidences of mortgage rates, skyrocketing, tech stocks, plummeting,
retirement funds, evaporating, stocks, tumbling, world recession, impending.
Worst, security, stability, future, wallets of ordinary citizens, women, youth, children,
at home, in the park, all shaken, inadvertently,

Alas,
a world in Good Friday, serial birthpangs, severe groanings;
economic injustices, financial insecurities, genocide, immoralities,
violence, violations, disruptions, desecrations.

Death. Darkness.
Burial. Bereavement.

Silence.

Maundy Thursday

WATER
Contemplating Pope Francis,
feetwashings on Maundy Thursdays,
such a daring, preferential love, for the margin,
embracing the young as persons of diverse, plural contexts, faiths,
with boundary-breaking courage, practice of inter-cultural-gender-religious, boundless love,
savoring each one in her/his indigenous, particular aspirations, memories, of specific complexities, localities;
God encountering, transforming, emboldening, enspiriting, each one.

Maundy Thursday,
water poured unto countless feet,
lifegiving symbol of adamant advocacy,
for the eternal, sacred value of Mother Earth,
for Inherent values of all lifeforms,
for total banishment of all earth-destructive extractive actions,
for fostering regenerative economy in partnership, over punitive, retaliatory, tariff war,
for the emergence of a multipolar world, from the rubbles of unipolar order,
for the resurgence of equitable, inclusive, viable alternatives, institutions, structures, policies,
toward co-generation, co-production, co-ownership with the global South,
for the eventual sustainable future of Mother Earth, the one livable planet for all.
